Business Development Executive

Hybrid - Sacramento CA

The Business Development Executive is a strategic role responsible for overseeing all marketing, outreach, and business growth initiatives for Renew Recovery Center. This individual will lead the business development team, cultivate strong relationships with referral sources and community partners, and ensure alignment between outreach efforts and organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator with a results-driven mindset, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to foster sustainable partnerships that promote program visibility and census growth.


Key Responsibilities
The Business Development Executive will:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee marketing strategies to increase admissions and promote service lines.
  • Build and maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare providers, case managers, community organizations, insurance companies, and government agencies.
  • Ensure performance goals are met.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute community engagement events, conferences, facility tours, and marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze market trends, community needs, and referral patterns to inform outreach strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure all marketing materials, messaging, and branding align with organizational standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess program offerings, expansion opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Track outreach activities, referral data, and conversion metrics; provide regular reports to executive leadership.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the facility with professionalism and integrity in all external engagements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve visibility, reduce acquisition costs, and enhance the reputation of the facility within the community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development, marketing, or healthcare outreach, preferably within behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment.
  • Proven track record of leading successful outreach initiatives and driving census growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of professionalism, initiative, and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with analytics tools preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for outreach and events.
